Food Technology and Agricultural Products Research Center
Food Technology and Agricultural Products Research Center is one of the four Research Centers of the Standard Research Institute. Based on the objectives of the research institute, this research center by 55 specialized and service personnel as well as several specialized and practiced laboratories in 3 research groups including Food science & Technology, Microbiology and Biology active along with the duties and missions of the Research Institute. The main activities focus on the research, testing, education, consultation and development of national and International standards.
The goals of Food Technology and Agricultural Products Research Center are as follows:
1-Realization of the duties and missions of INSO by providing scientific and technical consultations as well as educational services
2-Leading and conducting of applied researches in order to develop standardization services
3-Collaboration with educational and research centers, with the approach of increasing the level of scientific standards of national standards and improving the quality of domestic and imported goods
4-Collaboration with International Standardization Centers in order to maintain and develop the country's trade interests in global markets
5-Cooperation with accreditation and certification system
6-Consulting and interaction with the industry sector of the country to enhance the efficiency of the industry
