Department of Vehicle Engineering

In line with the duties of Faculty of Electrics, Mechanics and Construction, Vehicle Department is working in the fields of related industries for vehicles, motorcycles, and agricultural machines, marine and aerospace industries as follows:

• Conducting tests on products subject to mandatory and encouraging standards as a reference laboratory
• Conducting research tests to determine the exact specifications and features of products and services
• Conducting research activities to enhance the quality of products and services and to improve production methods and industries efficiency
• Conducting research projects related to research and training programs of other organizations
• Publishing the results of research and scientific activities through publications, journals and articles
• Providing scientific and technological services to firms that have not been recognized as standard
• Providing scientific and technological services to firms that their productions have not been matched with Iranian National Standard.
• Providing consulting services
• Training and retraining the authorities of quality control (quality control mangers) in the country
• Training and retraining the students of the universities in the country
• Holding training workshops
• Holding conferences and seminars

The standard research institute as the most important research and research authority of the standardization system in the country as well as the bridge between the centers of production and application of science, with the aim of completing the scientific chain and gaining national trust in products and services, is seeking to create the appropriate and appropriate context.
